Guidelines: Tuesday and Thursday evenings when there are no inter-county matches.
When there are no B or C team matches scheduled, our inter-county teams will often use that time to come out to practice as a team. The courts are open for club members on these nights and anyone is welcome to come out to play.
The level of play on these nights is at the inter-county level so beginning players may not feel totally comfortable with joining in with the play.
The captains of those teams will make every effort to accommodate any non inter-county ACTC member by giving up one of the courts or inviting those individuals into the regular court rotation.
The ACTC club pro may take advantage of open courts by requesting that one court is booked for lessons.
There is no Board policy and procedure for booking courts on these open evenings. Until one is made, please use these guidelines.

Gates Unlocked: May 16, 2009
Members will notice that there is no lock on our gate. This is a problem as it allows anyone open access who wishes to use our courts for skateboarding, bike tricking, roller blading. We know this behaviour usually happens late at night and on the weekends. There is damage this year already from these individuals.
The Town of Aurora has deemed this necessary to appease one or two local residents who want access to our courts at any time. These individuals have complained to the the Town and their solution is to permanently remove our only means of preventing vandalism and damage to our $50,000 cushioned courts, our soft rebounder, nets and court cleaning supplies.
The Board has asked that the lock be put back on and keys distributed to these people (as done last year). We are also suggesting the Town direct these individuals to sign up for our "low usage" membership which will give them access to our clubhouse (key to gate) and all our resources. This membership rate is only $20 so we feel it is a good compromise to these local residents.
Please stay tuned for further announcements on this matter.
